Default SoundMAX Integrated audio for Vista..

That board uses the AD1980 Audio Chipset which unfortunatly is pretty old
now and no longer supported. You can try searching for new drivers for the
codec rather than Soundmax as Soundmax is just a brand name of Analog
Devices which is the manufacturer of several Audio Codecs.

Vista recognizes it as SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio.. it is really an
onboard audio that comes with Asus P4P800-VM motherboard.

Hi there,

Integrated Audio is recognized by Vista and a driver is installed, but
after running for a while sounds goes away and doesn't work unless
machine is restarted. Are there any updated drivers available for this
problem?

Thanks,

Drazen
