InfoTip for Desktop.ini with Vista
Infotip doesn't work for Vista when trying to add a description to a folder.
How can I get this function to work in Vista or where has Microsoft moved this feature to? Thanks. |

InfoTip for Desktop.ini with Vista
I cannot answer your query but, as you know, in XP, the registry key is
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\image and in the right pane InfoTip. I haven’t been able to find the exact equivalent in Vista as the keys are slightly different, i.e. there are no info tip keys but a number of info tip (no space). I shall follow this post in the hope that the solution appears. "Gary" wrote: Infotip doesn't work for Vista when trying to add a description to a folder.
