Leadtek tv2000xp expert problem in WMC
hello... I am running Vista Home Premium and would like to use Windows Media
Center to run my tv tuner. I installed a "Leadtek tv2000xp expert" and it is working properly using it's proprietary software, Winfast PVR2. If I try to set up WMC to use it, it says that ther is no tv tuner installed in the computer.. i would great appreciate any help in this matter. |

Your tuner uses software encoding and does not have support for Media
Center2005 or Vista MC it is only supported using its own software. http://www.leadtek.com/eng/tv_tuner/...lineid=6&act=2 "nolan md" wrote in message ... hello... Does it mean then that there is no way to interface it with the media center?
Can you recommend a tv tuner card that works with vista MC? thanks. You may want to get one of the newer MC compatible combo analog and OTA ATSC
digital cards such as a Hauppauge 1600 or 1800 or an Avernedia combo PCI card instead of just an analog card "nolan md" wrote in message ...
