another can't connect to printer error
There are other can't connect to printer error topic's in this newsgroup ,but
from what I understand it are all network printer error's Now I am having the same error ,only my printer is directly connected to my PC by USB port Im using Vista Netherlands edition and I got Vista to understand the XP drivers of the Lexmark printer (last driver from Lexmark) (run driver as XPSP2 driver an as administrator etc) by the wat ,the printer is a Lexmark X2250 ,probably easy to know And yes ,Vista "sees" the printer ,it reconizes the printer ,but when I try to print or run a diagnostic on the printer it says "can't communicate with printer" Is there a way to solve this ?? Vista has got the printer seen on a USB port (port USB2) so to my knowlege that checks out And the printer is configured as default printer So anybody has any suggestion as what I can try to get it working ?? |
