Default Problems with a Second HD

Hello Guys,

I bought some days ago a new hard disk for my computer. I've look in my
Bios and the hd is detected, I also have format And Initialized it from
the disk management page, but when I open my computer windows from the
Start Windows button the HD never show up. (window Explorer does the
samething)

At the beginning i was wondering if it was a problems, that both of my
HD are detected as master in Disk management.

My First Disk is a Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 (500Go)

The one I've bought some days ago is a Western Digital WD5000AACS
(500Go) (and this is the one i can't see in my computer option)

So what i must do now? I want to be able to use it but I don't know
what to do!

(More Information)

My computer is an AMD ATHLON 64 x2 Dual-Core Processor 6000+

and i'm running it with Window Vista Home Premium....

If both hard drives are located inside your computer, you may have to put a
jumper on the new one to SLAVE.
Usually only one can be MASTER.

What format did you format it with when you found it in Disk Management and
what drive number did you give it?

I've took the NTFS format and I've took the letter B for the disk....

It was only giving the choice to use the Letter A,B,E,F,G
