Brother MFC 9600 built in drivers don't work
I am having issues with the built in brother MFC-9600 multifunction printer
drivers. The printer only prints out a blank page. I contacted Brother support and determined that it is not a hardware issue as we were able to emulate the brother printer driver using the built in HP Laserjet IIP driver. Using the HP driver, the document prints fine (but not at a decent resolution that the brother is capable of). Brother suggested I contact Microsoft phone support as the problem is with the drivers however Microsoft were not able to help unless I pay. System Details: Intel Quad Core 2.40 GHz CPU ASUS P5NE Motherboard 4.0 GB Ram Any recommendations? |

Microsoft doesn't write any printer drivers. Does Brother have any drivers on their web site? I was able to find drivers for my mfc-7820n printer for Vista, it worked ok. Eric |

Brother MFC 9600 built in drivers don't work
Brother tech support told me that THEY don't write the drivers. They said it
was all done by microsoft... I checked the brother website and the drivers for this model are "built-in" to Vista and when i was speaking to brother tech support, they said there are no drivers at all for this model because of the fact that they are built in to vista 64. Do you have the 64 bit version of vista? (that's what I'm running)... this is ridiculous....
