Default Bluetooth kb & mouse on a new Inspiron 9400 laptop

Hi everyone,

I've been playing with Vista this past week and had awful problems with
bluetooth support. Speciffically one of the most anoying problems I'm having
is that when I get my mouse and kb to get detected by Vista, and ANY kind of
error pops out in the screen, they automatically disconnect, there seems to
be a conflict between the video drivers and the mouse when they set the
screen to opaque mode to pop out the error message.

Validation messages that are very common as a pop out screen asking whether
we want to execute a file or not, also trigger the problem.

After redetecting my bluetooth kb and mouse for the 100th time, I decided to
restore the XP image I had where everything works correctly!

Also, when viewing to a DivX movie and moving the mouse this causes
glitches to be heard on the audio channels, where on XP never heard them even
with very high CPU loads.

It might be a problem related to the Bluetooth drivers at first, yes, but
WHY does this affect video and audio drivers and functioning on the bt
devices is holding me at an awe! this is definitely not the class of service
I expected from Vista, specially when I've seen repeatedly in channel9 that
driver isolation, new sound engine and device support is being advertised as
the new great thing of Vista.

My set up is a Dell Inspiron 9400 + Dell Bluetooth kb and mouse: core duo
7200 with 2GB of RAM and a Radeon X1400 video card.

I'm very frustrated with Vista, I was expecting a lot more support from it
than I had with XP...
