Default Updating Recommendations HELP!

I am by no means a computer genius so bear with me. I recently purchased
Vista Ultimate 32 Bit, but after reading many threads I saw that my
Adapter Type, or Card, which is the Intel(R) 829 15G/GV/910GL Express
Chipset, doesn't support the Aero Glass Theme. So I would like to
update this but I'm clueless on where to start or what type of card do I
need to run Aero and all the other features. Can you guys help me
please, thanks in advance.

Go to the computer manufacturer website and contact their support. Ask if it
is possible to install a third party video adapter.

What exactly is a third party video adapter? Can't I just install a new
graphic card?

What brand - model computer do you have?

A 3rd party means a video card not made by the manufacturer
of your computer. Some computers have their video on the
motherboards.

According to HP's support, the motherboard for this model supports adding a
PCI express x16 video card:

If you add a car remember to disable your onboard graphics.

Make sure any card you buy has a Vista Graphics Driver.
I would recommend a 512 memory over 256 if you plan
to do games or other graphic intensive programs. Hopefully
your system has at least 2 gigs memory and 4 gigs is better.
