Slow IEEE 1394 FIrewire external drive transfer
I'm getting only about 1.39 MB/sec to my external 3.5" 7200 RPM drive, off
of IEEE 1394 Firewire connected by PCMCIA. I don't think this is normal. ANy suggestions on how to speed it up? I'm transferring files from another external drive connected by USB 2.0, but that doesn't seem to be the bottleneck because transferring to my internal drive is at least four times as fast. |
