Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000 not working
I have Windows Vista home basic on a Dell laptop (I1520). I attempted to
install and use a wireless mobile mouse 3000 -- initially, my computer claimed it could not successfully install the driver. I rebooted the computer and it said that my mouse's driver had been installed successfully, but that the signal between my mouse and the USB port was weak. Now the message offering to help me troubleshoot won't even pop up and although the mouse is supposedly plugged in and "working", the mouse does not move on the screen. Help, please! |

If it says that the mouse receiver is connected OK, check batteries (even new ones can be dead) wireless phones, monitor (especially CRT type) etc. near the receiver or mouse. Make sure the mouse is on a surface that the mouse can use. See these two MS KB articles, especially the first one relating to having a previous driver for another mouse. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/185663 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/223256 |
