Vista won't install
I've built my own system using a Gigabyte GA-EP45-DQ6, Intel Q9550, 4G Mushkin RAM, Radeon 4870, 3 Seagate 250 G in RAID 5 and and LG DVD burner. Initially everything went fine. After I was up and running I installed a wireless adapter. My system became very unstable and I made things worse by trying to uninstalling the wireless software. So I decided to do a clean install of Vista. When I got to the expanding files part of the install I got a BSOD. Error message was IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I undid my RAID with one hard drive and only made it to Vista having my select my hard drive and the error was something about my system not supporting the drive as a boot device. So is this a Vista problem or hardware. My mobo has diagnostic LEDs and the one for the SATA ports is lighting during POST indicating a problem. But I don't know why the hard drive controller would even show the drives in BIOSif there was a problem. Speaking of BIOS, I've checked my setting there several times. Any ideas would be appreciated.
