Hardwa Acer Travelmate 8003 WLMi
All types of memory cards always show up as locked even though the lock tab on the actual memory card is set ot unlocked. |

Yes. I card read from and write to all memory cards when I was running
Windows XP Pro. This issue only surcfaced when I upgraded to Windows Vista Ultimate RC1. I card read from and write to all memory cards when I was running Windows XP Pro. This issue only surcfaced when I upgraded to Windows Vista Ultimate RC1. That may hint that the card's driver is not Vista compatible. I see similar behavior here with a reader that does the job in XP only - though in Vista it is not recognized at all. Contact the manufacturer. |
