Default Vista missing alot of stuff

I have a hp laptop dv6871us and it had got the blue screen saying
registory error or something like that. I went to safe mode to see if it
would work and it did. After running programs like ccleaner and
malwarebytes the blue screen didnt show up anymore. But the problem is,
that alot of thing are all messed up now. For example, the brightness
wont go up or down, i'm missing the battery icon (on the device manager
it has that little excalmation mark next to it), when i turn on laptop
the mouse (not the touchpad) wont work after a couple of minutes, which
never use to happen like this. it also wont open some programs like
google chrome. I have windows 7 installed also and when i boot into that
one, everything works perfectly...

Back up your data and reinstall Vista. The malware you had (and based on
what you wrote, possibly the work you did removing it) has badly damaged the
system. Best to just start over because untangling the errors will be
difficult if not impossible.

Ok i think the registry is messed up. Is there a way i could fix that???
I used drivermax to copy all drivers from windows 7 to vista but it
remained the same so im guessing its the registry.
