I use file shredder- Gutmann method to delete the files permanently, but
will they be restored in some ways? Thanks.

By 'shredding', I assume it probably overwrites the data with junk, then
deletes the file. The only way to restore it would be from a backup. Why
do you think they call it a 'shredder'?

I think he wants to make sure they are truly gone and not actually
restore them. With software restore method there is now way to do it but
there are still remnants of some of the file names and to get rid of
that too you need to wipe free space also, just one pass is all you need.

I think he wants to make sure they are truly gone and not actually
