Another Epson Product that works! Epson Perfection 1660
All one needs to is make sure that you:
1. Use Twain 5.71A from the Epson Website 2. Download all the latest updates for Epson Smart Panel Everything works. Install as though you were using Windows XP. You might get a pop up asking if the software installed properly...check! It should work...I have been scanning for two days Bob |

Another Epson Product that works! Epson Perfection 1660
hi ppl Speaking about Perfection 1660 for Vista x64: Are u installing WinXP driver? Because when I try it I get an error message: Component: ICM_2 File Group: _EW_Profiles File: szICCPath\ Error: The filename, directory name, or volume label sysntax is incorrect. I suppose the installer tries to access WinXP specific paths which simply do not exist in Vista... Could any1 repeat step by step what is needed to get the damn thing working, plz -- xeel |
