how do i stop vista forcing the installation of its crummy wddm on my
graphics card, i have tried numerous times to stop it, and now its getting on my goat of annoyance

It won't matter...you can just install the ones you download over it. Not

If you are referring to drivers that come down from Windows Update, change
your settings to either notify, or download but not automatically install. Then you can weed out any unwanted updates. -- Jane, not plain  64 bit enabled :-)Batteries not included. no jane, everytime i uninstall the drivers and restart, it doesnt go to
windows update or anything, just installs the wddm drivers which is plain annoying, since everytime i use video there is a stutter and nvidia suggests that i uninstall the wddm drivers or any old drivers before installing drivers "Jane C" wrote in message ... Which when you do, will put them back to the basic ones Vista uses, that
not a bug or a problem its just how it works.
