I am seeking a driver that will get my intel 830m graphics adaptor (in a Dell
Lattitude C400) working with Visat. (Build 6000).

Vista installs and detects it as a standard VGA adaptor at 640x480)
The XP driver installs by Blus Screens Vista when used.

TIA for any help.

Unfortunately your graphics adapter is not supported for Vista, so you are
stuck with the default drivers loaded by Windows.

Thanks for the info.

The lack of driver support in Vista is very dissapointing.
As a IT professional I cannot recomend upgrading existing systems to Vista
due to the poor support.
I am still hoping some enterprising coders will start creating drivers
rather than waiting for slow OEM's.
