Windows Mobile Device Center Corrupts WM 2003SE
Hey All:
I think this might be a unique issue, but here goes. I have an iPAQ with Windows Mobile 2003SE. Since I installed Vista and Windows Mobile Device Center (final), an issue arose wherein adding new tasks and setting a due date automatically set a start date on the PDA. There is no way to unlink the two - it automatically sets the due and start dates to the same date. I do not use start dates, only due dates, and because of this the PDA does not let me know about when things are coming due. A "hard" reset of the PDA (wiping everything off of it and resetting it to factory settings) fixes the problem, but the next time I plug it into Vista, the device becomes corrupt again (sets start and due dates, and will not allow one or the other individually). Anybody know of what the problem is? Is this a bug that someone at Microsoft needs to get out of the program? Thanks --Databoy2k |
