Default How to set folder options to apply one to one folder but not the other?

All,
One thing on Vista that I have not been able to figure out, with XP, I
could set one folder to show hidden files and other folder not to, with
Vista, it seems that all folder options apply to everything or nothing,
anyone know of a work around for this?

thanks..

Not in any previous version of windows. Hidden has always been a global
setting.

Tim

The Show hidden files and folders is a global setting.

To customize this setting, set it to Do not show Hidden files and folders.
You can then remove or enable the Hidden attribute for any files and folders
that you do or do not want to be available.
