1 'free upgrade' 2 machines
i recently bought 2 laptops for a small business from different companies.
Both are similar spec (could handle vista, even 64bit if wanted) but unfortunately only one of them came with XP Pro - free Vista business upgrade. The other came with XP home edition and no upgrade mentioned. I rang the company i bought the machine from and they're not offering the upgrade DESPITE microsoft offering it to companies to give away or sell for a small fee over the holiday 'transition'. Anyway... is there a way i can use the 1 upgrade key to get Vista business on both machines? is there a cheaper way than just buying the whole vista package retail style for the second machine? I really dont want to be spending the full lot when i may not need to so i thought i would ask the question here. Thanks in advance. |
