Default Nvidia GeForce 6150 problems with Vista

I've tried to do as many of the things as recently suggested to get the
drivers from nvidia, but nothing works. I have downloaded the 32 and 64 bit
driver both, to no avail, run both as administrator, checked to make sure the
compatablilty box isn't checked, as well as try to get my current drivers to
check the web for updates, to which I get a wonderful "Up to date" message,
which I know isn't true. Sugggestions? Is this driver download going to be
available on Microsoft updates soon? My computer seems to handle those ok

-Thanks

Having wrestled with the same problem with my 6800 and finally solving it,
let me ask/recommend the following:

1. Download the latest drivers and utlities for your motherboard and
install them;
2. Download the latest beta driver for your video card (one was released on
the 20th I believe)
3. Make sure ALL of your hardware (tv cards, etc.) have the latest drivers
installed.

Until I did 3, I couldn't not figure out the problem.
