Epson RX500 Black and White
Vista Home Premium.
Epson RX500 drivers install autmatically since it is USB. Cannot find how to force it to print in Black and White. The only reference I can find is under Advanced ... which says Click Greyscale...it works if you want Greyscale but not if you want true black and white. How do you set the printer to print in Black and White and not Color? I have also seen references on the web to XP SP2 compatibility mode...but have yet to see how that can be set...any help greatly appreciated. |

Epson RX500 Black and White
Just because it's a USB device doesn't mean it automatically installs! You
should ALWAYS check at the website of the device manufacturer, in this case www.epson.com As it happens, Epson has rewritten the drivers for this printer for Vista. Now you must uninstall and reinstall your printer after downloading the drivers. Although written for XP, the instructions are the same as at: http://www.coribright.com/windows/Article_One.htm -- Cari (MS-MVP) Windows Technologies - Printing & Imaging http://www.coribright.com/windows "JMWilton" wrote in message ...
