Default Need small printer for travel...

I just purchased a new laptop that came installed with Vista. I'm working
out all the bugs, which have been considerable. Anyway, much of my work
requires me to be away from the office and I have the need to print
documents in the field. I've used the small Canon Bubblejet printer for a
long time and it's served me well. However, it requires the old "printer
port" i.e. there's no USB connection...so it won't work with my laptop. Is
there a comparable (or better) small printer that can be easily packed for
travel? I'm also looking for a small but reliable "sheet fed" scanner that
will work with my laptop. I had an Antec sheet fed scanner that I tried to
use at one time but it was not reliable at all and I could never get the
paper to feed through it without problems. Any suggestions? Thanks....

Since you seem to be a loyal Canon fan (sounds like me!) how about the new
Pixma iP90v..

Connects via USB, InfraRed and (optional) Bluetooth, so if your new notebook
has BT, you won't even have a cable between printer and notebook. That
seems to be the smallest they now manufacture... but I'm not sure how
portable 4lbs is. By the time you've got your notebook in its carrying
case, perhaps an extra 4lbs won't make much difference.
