Frank;
Be careful what you assume. 5536 is not available to MSDN and probably will never be. There are many legitimate sources for Microsoft Beta products. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "Frank" wrote in message ... DJ TECH wrote: Jupiter: My motherboard can go up to 2gb. Yes, you have a point. Since my computer only has two slots for RAM, if I buy a card right now and later I want to upgrade to more, I will spend on this one and on the other one. Lang: I don't only use my computer for basic stuff, but for Photoshop, Sony Vegas, and Adobe After Effects. I am very patient, and I get to do good things. I was running Vista 5472, but when I tried to upgrade to 5536, it wouldn't let me for the RAM issues. As I type, I am running Windows XP. It is running great! Somethings really, really wrong with this picture. Where did you get 5472 & 5536? If you're only 13 where did you get the big $'s needed to join msdn? Please don't try and think we'd believe your parents cause big ram (2 gigs) wouldn't be a problem if that were true. Fess up! The truth will not hurt you, or us. Frank |

Any number of many events where Microsoft routinely passes out various
software. Depending on the event, you can get Betas, trial software and even in some cases, full versions of software. Full versions of Windows Server 2003 Enterprise was common a few years ago at appropriate events. Search for events he http://www.microsoft.com/events/inperson/default.mspx Exactly what you get is usually unknown in advance. Usually some software will be related to the subject of the event. But often new or up and coming software is often given out. If you have never been to one, try it. There is normally no age limit. Events ore one of the more common, but there is of course Betas as well as a wide variety of other sources. -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "Frank" wrote in message ... Or if you are me. Been beta testing Microsoft Products since I was about
14. Legally as a technical beta tester and TAP user. 13 was the agre requriment when I signed up. I sent at email to Windy back in the day and was onboard in no time. Since then I've beta tested every Microsoft OS from Windows Me to Vista. Including all service backs, addons, etc. And a number of other betas. Right now I am beta testing 25 microsoft bets on microsoft connect. And I always manage to post at least 100 unquine bugs per beta. "Jupiter Jones [MVP]" wrote in message ...
