Here's a strange one.. I have on average 80-100 gigs of free space normally on my hard drive. Last night I noticed I was at 45 gigs free. I cleaned up some files etc and ended at 55 gigs free.. I put some music on a CD off from ITunes and it done good for a long time. Then I put it in the CD drive and it popped up stated to "Burn a Disc" "Prepare this blank disc" Disc title Nov 22 2008. I know it has music in it. What am I doing wrong? It has never done this before. -- Lauria

Desktop problem with shortcut to media player If I set up a shortcut to media player on the desktop and double click on it to open, nothing happens (wait hourglass flashes then dissappears). Even when the sidebar gadgets are placed onto the desktop, Windows will change their position slightly during the next boot. The result is a jumbled mess on the desktop after a few reboots. Hey! I have had lately a strange problem, well not realy a problem, just a issue with google desktop. Sometimes, some of the gadgets that i have on it suddenly disappear, like if there were nothing there, and when i click on the google desktop zone, they appear again. Somehow whenever I press the left shift key, it opens calculator everytime. If I press the right shift key, then the windows search app opens. Any idea how I got into this situation? I have a problem with the file which is named "appwiz.cpl" I deleted cuz of a game and it requested its delete. So I deleted the file. Then I was trying to enter and delete from the settings some programs but I couldn't cuz it was missing. So I need help about that one. I resently installed a fresh copy of vista and for some reason I am unable to save pictures. If I right-click on a picture the window comes up, but I am unable to activate any of the options: no save to favorites, no back, no print. It does nothing. Can you tell me what happened. There is a way to beat the statistics in Vista Chess. When you are going to lose the game, but before the checkmate, simply save the game. A saved game does not count in the statistics. The next time you are going to lose, save the game again. It over writes the previous saved game and neither is counted in the stats.

I am running Vista. When I have been surfing the net and then hit the close button, instead of going to my desktop, a blank page appears with the work connecting on the taskbar. When I create a desktop shortcut to a web site and double click it, I.E. opens the web site but it also opens a blank web page. When I switch to the blank web page there is no URL in the address window and the tab indicates connecting... I would appreciate it if anyone could offer a solution. P.S. - If I open I.E. then enter a URL in the address window the blank web page does not appear.
