Default Display driver problem

I purchased F.E.A.R. and the game runs perfect, but after 5-10 minutes the
screen goes black. I can still play the game, hence, I still hear footsteps,
gunshots, etc. I can even press escape and listen for the clicks when the
mouse hovers over an option, so I can actually quit the game like this. When
it returns to the desktop a triangular yellow icon with an exclamation point
in i appears in the task bar and says "Display driver igfx has stopped and
successfully recovered." What does this mean. I checked for an updated
driver, but it said I have the most recent one. This is a brand new PC as
well.

Where did you check for an updated Vista driver? If you did not check at
the chip drivers Website for their latest Vista Beta driver you should.

Check for an updated driver at your PC manufacturer's website and the Intel
website... but remember you do appear to have an integrated graphics chipset
which will never be the best option for gaming.
