Default Conexant Soung

Petar....thanks for the idea, but I did try that with no luck. As for the
post, I kept getting an error saying the post did not go....guess it actually
did

Thanks for the feedback.

I have a Toshiba P105 and it was loaded with the Conexant Sound. After the
installation of RC1 my sound stopped working. Currently it appears the
Microsoft drivers are loaded. It recognizes the device as High Definition
Audio. I try to load the Conexant XP drivers an it fails.

In device properties this is the following error:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

I have searched the web and tried virtually all of the different drivers
from RealTek and Conexant. I cannot find Conexant Vista drivers, like
everyone else. I am not sure what sound card/chip that is in my laptop.
I
have the Intel 945 GM Express chipset.

Along with this issue I also have in Other Devices drivers that did not
load
in Mass Storage Controller and Unknown Device.

If anyone has recommendations on how to solve I would greatly appreciate
the
assistance. Toshiba is no help since this is only RC1. You would think
Toshiba would be up to speed with Microsoft.

Thanks for your help.
