Vista Ultimate
beautiful system and surprises everyone that it's so easy to connect to the
flat screen tv. I get very little time on it as everyone wants to play with all the new gadgets and such. My biggest difficulty has been the keyboard and internet connection. The keyboard lights pop up after the system has shut down and though the usb keyboard works it doesn't seem to want to open the Bios when I boot up and try to enter. I have to give up and purchase the Logitech wireless I guess. LOL The internet seems to want to minimize and shut everything down when Microsoft starts the download updates and then clears up when the downloads are installed. I assume this is just a part of the gliches with any new OS but very frustrating when your working and want to do something besides wait on Microsoft downloads. All in all I guess I can live with the OS as a Multimedia Center and I'll just stick to the XP Pro for work right now. |

keyboard (actually 3 different keyboards) had problems. Not 2 hours after I
wrote this my motherboard failed. Central Supply unit was my first thought but not that. CPU had power-fans fine- and so I have decided it must have a MB breech somewhere. Might even explain the issue with the internet. Called the MB company and they will replace it. We'll see after that if Vista performs better. Thanks so much for your help - and support, it's very much appreciated. My weeks been going like this so I should have suspected something in the system itself was screwed up. If into a hub it will not function until windows is fully up I believe...Try plugging it directly into the computer if necessary "Keyboard Issues" Keyboard wrote in message ... beautiful system and surprises everyone that it's so easy to connect to the flat screen tv.
