Default Vista Basic 64 and installing prgrams?

Hi,

In general you can use 32bit software on 64bit o/s. You need to test
this with official CDs such as Office 2007 or a recent cover CD from a
magazine. Are you saying all your CDs fail in the same way, or are you
saying it's just one?

Hey,

The only time that I was able to do that was when I did a
D:\Setup.exe command and it eventually said that Vista
couldn't handle 16 bit software. I don't think that all of
my stuff is 16 bit. If the installer is 32 bit I should be able
to install it correctly shouldn't I?

thanks...

Hi,

Can you browse files on the CD? If so, what happens when you double
click the setup.exe file?

Hi all,

I am trying to install programs on my new Vista
Basic 64 machine. When I put the cd's in the
drive nothing happens even though the auto
start is turned on. Is this a permissions problem?
How do I make my accout "powerfull" enough
to do stuff?

thanks,
charles.....
