Vista Dual Head disabled
I have been running Windows Vista Ultimate 64 with 3 monitors for some time
(2-3 months). After downloading and installing Dream Scene trhough windows update I started running into problems. When I first tried to enable Dream Scene windows would disable Areo and drop back to Vista basic. I turned off my 2nd and 3rd display and then Dream Scene ran fine. However when I tried to re-enalbe my other monitors Vista now only see's one monitor per video card! I have a nVidia 8800GTS 640 running my primamry Monitor (CRT) at 1600 x 1200 and then a nVidia 7900GT runiing a pair of LCD's at 1400x1050. I can enalbe monitor 3 or 4 but not both and they alwasy display on the same port. I even tried moving one of the LCD's to the 8800 and it only see's the primary monitor. Anyone have any suggestions on what is going on? |
