Default Unable to install Hardware

Hello, I have this problem after i tried to install a Kingston blue tooth
adapter. I can no longer install hardware drivers automattlicy, I
have to manually point to "C:\windows\system32" and have it scan that folder
for drivers. This is a PITA as i have to wade though 3-4 windows before i
can
even get to this part. Can anyone tell me how to fix this? or tell me where
to change the default folder to look for drivers/inf's? (and possibly what
it's supposed to be set at?)

Thanks

Drew

Have you tried a System Restore to a point before you started having this
problem?

No, Thing is I tried this mid Feb. and discovered this problem in May. I've
installed Office, and meny other apps since Feb. I'd hate to have to
reinstall them all.
