Default Importing Videos causes lock-up/crash!

This is most annoying, I've had this problem during Vista beta, and even now
with ultimate etc, importing pictures and music is fine, but if I try and
import any video, I get the "Windows Movie Maker has stopped working" box...
any ideas? Its annoying me!
