Bluetooth driver install KILLED automatic driver installation
In an effort to get my phone paired up with Vista Home Premium, I
installed the Widcomm v5 drivers which worked OK. However, I decided to wait until a Vista-compatible driver is released so I uninstalled the drivers and now my automatic driver installation no longer works. It skips searching C:\Windows\INF and goes directly to Windows Update. Is there a way to fix this? It is very annoying when I have to tell it to manually search C:\ every time I want to install a new device (and every time I plug in my mouse!) Thanks! |

open System Restore and go back to a date before you installed these drivers, it should fix the problem. -- dmex |
