Do a system Restore to before the updates.
StartProgramsAccessoriesSystem ToolsSystem Restore.
Disable Anti-virus while doing it!

Once that is done, change your Auto updates to Notify you when updates are
ready to be downloaded.
Ones you don't wantright-clickHide.
And DO NOT install any Hardware drivers form Windows Update
Go to Acer's website to do that!
