N670u and Vista64
Hi guys I have a canoscan n670u and Vista 64 but I cannot find drivers. The cannon website says it doesn't support any 64bit OS (I had this problem with XP64). This is utter stupidity as most new pc's now ship with a 64bit OS  Does anyone have any advice on exactly how I can install my scanner -- bippym

How about the VISTA 32 one? Although I know that VISTA 64 is somewhat
ahead of the cutting edge 8 http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0000475.asp One often finds things on European and Australian support sites that are not here yet.

N670u and Vista64
64 bit drivers all have to be digitally signed so 32 bit drivers won't
normally install. Sorry, you're out of luck with the scanner, 64 bit O/S is still a fairly new concept. If you use a Vista 32 bit system your scanner should function OK.
