DVD's won't play.
Hi,
I'm having problems playing DVD with WMP and Windows Media Center. With WMP I get a "WPM cannot play this DVD because there is a problem with Digital Copy Protection between you DVD Drive, decoder, and video card. Try installing an updated driver for your video car." message. I can see the contents of the DVD but won't play the DVD. These are not homemade DVD's. I have Vista Home Edition Premimum 32 Bit. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7650 GS with the latest driver 7.15.11.6222. My dvd player is TSST Corp CD/DVDW TS-H652D ATA Device. (6.0.6000.16386) My compter is a Gateway GM54463E. The Current region is Region 1. |

The Current region is Region 1. I had the same issue when trying to output HD res to my HD projector. Easy way around it is to use VLC to play DVD's instead of WMP. VLC will play pretty much anything. It's the Macrovision crap on the DVD's that is giving you the issue. VLC bypasses that. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ |
