Drivers for Soundblaster Live! Gamer in Vista
Have you been able to get the sound to work in Vista Beta (RC1)?
I too have installed Vista (RC1), and am very impressed with it. However, I have no sound. I have visited Creatives web site, and Soundblaster, but they have indicated on their web site that they will not provide driver support for Beta Vista before it final release. I had sound within the other Vista Beta I tested, using the same Sound Card as this one. Don't know why its different now with this (RC1) Version. I know Microsoft would not allow beta testing of an operating system without providing a means of hearing what you see. My Sound card is a: Soundblaster Live! gamer. I have vista booting as a dual boot with XP., XP runs good with sound. But the other partition Vista is on cannot find the correct drivers for Vista regarding the same soundblaster card. Can you, or someone Help? voowe2 |

Drivers for Soundblaster Live! Gamer in Vista
CL should have drivers for their Live card in september...
Anyway I will try this: in your BIOS you can "play" with the "Plug and Play OS" option. This works for sometimes with some PCI cards.
