GeForce Go Problems
I just installed Vista on my laptop and it did not detect my Video Card as
the GeForce Go 7200 that it is. I don't know what drivers to go for or anything, and a lot of features are disabled because Vista thinks I have a lousy card. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -Sapaca |

GeForce Go Problems
I am in the same boat friend. NVidea has drivers for the FX and FX GoXXXX
seriels cards for the desktops, but say they don't have drivers made for the notebooks yet. the 96.33 driver doesn't support the notebook video cards. Youc an give it a go if you want, just mkae sure you create a back-up. I can tell you that it doesn't work for the FX Go5600 in the HP notebooks. http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x86_96.33.html "Sapaca" wrote: I just installed Vista on my laptop and it did not detect my Video Card as the GeForce Go 7200 that it is. You do have a lousy card, but that's beside the point ;-). Skip on over to
www.laptopvideo2go.com for drivers for the 7200. Beware though that they are somewhat buggy - no suprise there. Make sure you get the correct drivers for the OS your running - x32 or x64. The 9633 will run the NB. You have to get the modded inf file for the 7200 at
www.laptopvideo2go.com. "Gene Fitz" wrote: I am in the same boat friend. GeForce Go Problems
I tried the suggested file, but the problem I am running into is that the
card is recognized currently as a standard vga display adapter, so when I try to install any drivers an error message comes up saying that there was no device detected for those drivers. Is there a way around this? |

GeForce Go Problems
I finally figured out how to get it to work. I just downloaded the modified
inf. file from the forums and pasted it into the driver folder. Then I just ran the .exe and the Nvidia installed worked without a hitch. |
