Default Dell E510 2.8gig Dual Core Processor and Vista 64 bit?

I have a Dell e510 2.8g Dual core processor and recently downloaded the 64
bit version of Vista RC2 and installed it. It installed with no problems,
but as I read more and more, I'm wondering..."was I supposed to install the
32 bit one?"

1) Wouldn't it tell me during install if I was doing the incorrect one?
2) Is my computer 64 bit compatible, I can't find info on the internet
regarding the specific specs on the intel chip
3) It's running fine, would it be running better on a 32 bit version
4) If I want to go to 32bit, do I have to reinstall over the 64 bit, or is
there a downgrade option from 64?

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks

1. You can run either version. Both are correct for this system
2. Yes your system is 64-bit compatible. (I have one also)
3. Depends on how much ram you have and what you're using it for, and if
64-bit has drivers for everything in your system.
4. You would need to do a clean install. Format the drive then load the
other version.
