Default dudes were my ram

i have this board

asus AN8-VM and im missing 1 Gig of ddr 400 on it, i have all four slots
with the same ddr memory, any hints?

Hi Stephen!

Thias ist a know problem of the 64bit-architecture boards. They wate nearly
a gig for some reason.

It's not "wasted" it's just reported incorrectly. It plainly describes
this in the motherboard manual. Doesn't anyone RTFM anymore?

Check out my posting in this newsgroup dated Oct 8th: " vista don't
recongize 4 gigs of system memory". HTH.
