What you knew in the past about memory usage is now quite the opposite when
it comes to Vista.

Vista uses RAM completely differently than XP does/did.

Someone explained it to me like this: Vista uses RAM like Linux uses RAM.
Basically all the RAM is used upfront and then as more and more applications
are opened, Vista moves the apps in the RAM around as needed. This allows
the system to be more responsive and “feel” faster to the end user. Combine
that technology with the new pre-fetch included in Vista and things really
work much smoother.

If you have a laptop, you might want to add a USB stick and then enable
Ready Boost on the stick. It really helps and allows a place for the large
cache to go. It's like adding more usable memory to the system. It works
really well and I'm telling ya, makes a noticeable difference.

I look in Task Manager and explorer.exe's memory usage is 490MB

My System has only 1GB Ram, so this 490MB is either Memory Leak Or Cache?
