NO SUCH INTERFACE SUPPORTED-NEED TO REMOVE HOTFIX KB891781
I purchased Coffee Cup HTML Editor (coffeecup.com) 2 days ago.
The incentive to this purchase was the Visual Editor. I cant use it because of this Security Update. I have spent hours trying to figure this out. Coffee Cup has not responded to my call or e-mail and they are closed on weekends. The only solutions I can find is for XP. The steps are not the same as Vista and cannot be applied the same. I have done all the obvious for recommended solutions by checking installed updates. It is not there! I go to microsoft, keyword search KB891781 and they all seem to apply to earlier versions (XP, NT, 2000). When I keyword search Vista KB891781, the message says "Did you mean: vista kb891711", I dont have that in my installed updates either. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REMOVE THIS? Here is the error message I get: A recent Microsoft Security Update for the DHTML Editing Component has been detected. This Update (KB 891781) causes the Visual Editing portion of the Coffee to run Improperly As a result, the Visual Tab will be disabled. |
