Where does the files I delete from my USB port go to??
Hi,
I need to find a folder that i accidentally deleted from my USB. From my understanding, the deleted file/folder from the USB will not go to the computer's recycle bin. Therefore, where does it go.. will i be able to retrieve it??? _ Thank you!!^^ |

If you haven't overwritten it with something else, then it may be
recoverable. The common file recovery utilities should work with a USB device as well as they work with an ordinary disk. See, for instance: http://aumha.org/a/recover.htm http://www.aumha.org/downloads/restoration.exe -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (Windows - Shell/User) "*songie" wrote in message news Hi, I need to find a folder that i accidentally deleted from my USB.
