How to switch off my inbuilt microphone
Right click on the Speaker icon in the Notification Area of the Taskbar and
select Recording Devices. In the Recording window, right click on the inbuilt microphone and select Disable. If you go back to the Recording window and your microphone no longer shows up, right click on an empty area of the window, and select both "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices".
