Default Message after installed MS Vista: no soundcard installed...!?

After installing MS Vista Premium Home-edition on my lap-top (as an old
XP-user)
i have no sound anymore...
In the lower bar in Vista, i see the speaker-symbol as disabled.
When i point my mouse on that symbol, i see the message
"No hardware for sound installed" !
My motherboard is Intel M50EI0 installed on a Fujitsu-Siemens PC.

How can i fix this problem...?

Go to the soundcard manufacturers website and down drivers that are
compatible with Vista.
Have you checked that all of your drivers are Vista compatible, if not you
may have problems.
