Default How do I prevent Vista from Autoinstalling drivers

I have been struggling to get my non-MCE PVR-150 to work on my Vista
64-bit Ultimate and it just wont happen.

For starters Vista automatically installs drivers while Hauppauge says:

Step 4 - New Driver Installation
After Windows reboots, you will see the *New Hardware
Found* prompt.
*Cancel the New Hardware Wizard.*
Run *HCWDriverInstall.exe*, from the unzipped directory.
This will install the Windows driver for your WinTV. At the completion
of the driver install, you should see a message which says *Drivers have
been updated sucessfully*..

::*Note I have:
1) Already SET \"Windows Update Driver Setting\" to \"Never Check for
Drivers when I connect a device\"
2) DISABLE all Windows updates.
3) Disconnect the PC from the Internet.
*::
It STILL will install whatever drivers it feels for the PVR-150, which
is the Hauppauge Win TV PVR PCI II (26xxx).

Is there something else I can try??!!!
