Some message text is hard to read
Some message boxes contain text which I find very hard to read but I don't
know how to change the font or size. An example is the site address box on this forum's page which says http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/.......... I don't want to change my display resolution from 1280 x 1024. I just want to be able to change that text size/font. It is not controlled by Appearance Settings/Advanced/message text. Is it possible to change it? Colin |

Some message text is hard to read
A few tips:
1. Disabling website fonts and only using the one you prefer. Tools: Internet Options: General: Fonts - Choose link "how to ignore preset fonts" will give you info. Since this undermines the web designers, and really makes some websites look bad, I recommend at least trying my second option. 2. If you have a mouse with a wheel between buttons, try holding down control and moving in or out. This should just change the webpage you are on to get larger/smaller without changing the global resolution "Spirefm" wrote: Some message boxes contain text which I find very hard to read but I don't know how to change the font or size. Some message text is hard to read
Two things I can think of:
1. Go to Tools: Internet Options: General: Fonts: and choose the link "How to Ignore preset fonts". This will allow you to specify the font and text size that you prefer to read. This can be annoying though since it works on all webpages and can make pages look bad. Because of this I recommend trying step 2. 2. If your mouse has a scroll wheel (the wheel between the right and left mouse button): Hold down control (Ctrl) and slowly move the wheel. It should soom in/zoom out on the page changing the local resolution without changing the global resolution. If you dont like either option post back exactly why and we can go from there. Cheers!
