Can't Print From Laptop to PC Printer
I have a Gateway laptop that I updated with Windows Vista Ultimate about a
year ago. I have been trying to print documents to the printer that is hooked up to my PC, but when I go to print nothing happens. I have installed the printer on my laptop, and it says everything is ready, but when you try to print a test page or anything else nothing happens at all. Help please! |

Have you successfully set up file sharing between the two computers? The test of this is if you are able to transfer a file both ways. Have you shared out the printer on the PC? Excellent, thorough, yet easy to understand article about File/Printer Sharing in Vista. Includes details about sharing printers as well as files and folders: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb727037.aspx Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!"
