Default Audio/Visual problem associated with IE Defender Issues?

What the hell has happened to my computer is the last 24 hours? First, I get
the IE defender problem that seems to be plaguing the western world (It says
my virus protection is off and won't get updated definitions when I try to
turn it back on)..so i run these command prompts as administrator...now all
of a sudden, none of my videos and/or music work. In fact, I can't even
stream audio from any of the radio webites I often frequent. What happened
here and can we get this fixed? How in the world are these issues
interrelated?

I'm desperate here. I had ZERO problems 24 hours ago. Oh, one last thing,
the icon docked in the lower right hand corner of the screen for my network
says i'm not connected. This is new as well. I am connected...that's how Im
writing this discussion query! What is going on?!?!?!?

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried doing a System Restore to a point in time before you started
experiencing this problem, and see if it corrects the problem

IE Defender is malware and you have to remove it. Simply doing a System
Restore won't work.

Remove IE Defender:
