Default change taskbar color

I think this is something that should have been addressed in Vista! I mean
it was very limited in XP with just 3 and now in Vista they took away all our
power to choose taskbar colors, it's my computer and I want to be able to
change the color of my taskbar. It worries me that by the time we get
'Vienna' the desktop will be locked at a windows logo, and all colors will be
a high contrast black and white! C'mon this is supposed to get better not
worse!

It's not done by themes.

Yes very true Bill
but the taskbar changing color is a nice side effect.
I'm sure when vista has been released to retail, there will more than
likely be themes available which will allow for a much higher level of
customisation.

Will,

Keep in mind the task bar color isn't exactly that of the Window border
color... but yes, it does change.

news yes you can Just right click the desktop then click on "personalise"
then click on "window color and appearance" there you can choose from 8
different colors and adjust the transparency of aero with the color
intensity slider.
